Mark R. Laurin, DDS, Anchorage implant dentist, offers implants that can replace missing teeth or provide a fixed solution to having removable partial or complete dentures.  Dental implants are stable and durable and usually last a patient many years.  Also, with the All-On-4 procedure, Dr. Laurin can provide patients with implant retained appliances.  Patients no longer have to deal with messy denture glue and can now have their appliances mounted permanently with dental implants.

Implants are typically artificial titanium roots that are surgically placed in the jaw bone.  Porcelain teeth are then attached to the titanium root to give the natural and functional appearance of teeth, and enhance a patient’s smile.

Dental implants are an ideal way to replace missing teeth.  Our practice applies Sirona 3-D imaging to place implants.  3-D imaging allows Dr. Laurin to put the implant over the x-ray so that he can precisely control the parameters of the procedure without ever having to place anything on the patient.  The Sirona imaging system eliminates guesswork and allows for a less evasive, more surgically exact procedure.  Overall, the patient feels less sensitivity and has a much higher success rate.

Dr. Laurin is trained in 3D Image Evaluations from the Scottsdale Center of Dentistry.

Reasons for dental implants:

  • Replace one or more missing teeth without affecting adjacent teeth.
  • Resolve joint pain or bite problems caused by teeth shifting into missing tooth space.
  • Restore a patient’s confident smile.
  • Restore chewing, speech, and digestion.
  • Restore or enhance facial tissues.
